Artist and calligrapher Mina Masoumi combines in a unique style a variety of Persian calligraphic hands and scripts, as well as numerals and geometric shapes and structures. Her visual and semantic references are linked to Iranian history, culture and literature, and also have a deep connection with the inner workings of modern image-processing devices. Her compositions refer to myths without reconciling history with reality.
