Tanoa Sasraku

With a practice that moves freely between filmmaking, drawing and textiles, Tanoa Sasraku does work that engages directly with her cultural identity and familial history. A hallmark of the artist’s practice is her appliquéd newsprint flags, which are frayed and layered over one another.
