Julien Prévieux

Julien Prévieux became known for his non-motivation letters (2004), which he sent for several years to employers in response to advertisements seen in the press, detailing the motivations which pushed him not to apply. By using varied forms of expression, from installation to performance, the artist - laureate of the prestigious Marcel Duchamp Prize in 2014 - questions contemporary technological and economic rationalities in their effects and their influence on individual and collective bodies.
