Pierre Huyghe's works are conceived as speculative fictions and are often presented as a continuum between different forms of intelligence - biological, technological, tangible, inert matter that learns, changes and evolves. They are unpredictable, permeable, contingent and often indifferent to the presence of witnesses. For Pierre Huyghe, the ritual of the exhibition is an encounter with a sensitive environment that generates new possibilities of co-dependence between events and the elements that unfold within them.
