Enrique López Llamas (Aguascalientes, MX – 1993) Enrique López Llamas’ work explores current phenomena through the appropriation and reinterpretation of strategies and images from art history and his personal experience. Through memory, fiction, humor, and nostalgia, he develops ideas that translate into media such as painting, video, performance, and installation. His projects are characterized by an interest in narrative speculation as a tool to address the cultural and power structures that shape our times.
