Claude Eigan’s practice centers on the concept of constant change and the instability that permeates all systems and beings. Working primarily through sculpture and installation, he investigates bodies—their fragility, inevitable decline, and the environments they occupy. Eigan transforms everyday, familiar objects into vessels for alternative narratives, stripping them of sensationalism to focus on their symbolic power. Drawing on science fiction-inspired processes, he manipulates and recontextualizes these objects, altering their scale and complexity by infusing them with corporeal elements.
