Hamish Pearch explores the hidden energies and narratives within everyday materials, transforming them into sculptural and spatial experiences that blur the boundaries between the natural and human-made. He investigates the structures, materials, and forms that shape our environments, emphasizing how objects and spaces mediate perception and experience. Pearch combines found objects, natural forms, and everyday materials with cast and modeled elements made from jesmonite and resin. His work often occupies a liminal space between the tangible and the conceptual, encouraging reflection on the tensions inherent in materiality, form, and spatial relationships.
