Biography

The body of work of Keto Logua is diverse: some objects are made of wood, pewter, and steel, others of aluminide, iron, and prints on satin or aluminum. Strongly inspired by the multiplicity and ambiguity of the botanical world, from the floral petals to their sexes, Logua collaborates with botanists, scientists, and architects to depict the flowers' built-in crosscuts and symbols. In search of meaningful fiction, she works through variations and mutations of knowledge, using existing models like 3D and scientific drawings, which she prints, casts, or paints. ...
