Meitao Qu

Working across sculpture, installation, and XR, Qu’s practice is concerned with the role of images in shaping discourses of gender, race, and nation. Using miniatures and readymades, her work considers the artifice of the built environment to explore the conditions of what is lost and gained in the processes of urbanization.
