Alice Aycock is an American sculptor and installation artist. She was an early artist in the land art movement in the 1970s. Her early works were semi-architectural sited works constructed of wood and stone, and involved reshaping the earth. During the 1980s, she started work incorporating steel and other components evoking industry to challenge the idea of industrial aesthetics.
