Scott King, a graphic designer by trade, creates humorous, satirical works that are politically dissident and sardonic by nature. In ‘Marxist Disco (Cancelled)’, King’s 2008 exhibition at Kunstverein München, the artist’s screen-printed reimagination of the ubiquitous image of Che Guevara, which instead features Cher, stretched around three metres across the gallery wall.
