Andrés Barón
B.1986, Colombian

Andrés Barón works across film, video, and photography to explore spaces of representation, considering the ways in which images are reconfigured by screens and networks. His body of work takes influence from, and is built from research around, 1970s experimental film and video. Provoking contemporary questions about genre fluidity, Baron reinvents historically formal strategies drawn from the highly influential decade of filmic media that is the 1970s. ...

DS Galerie is a contemporary art gallery based in Paris. After six years of being a nomad curatorial project (2016–2022), Double Séjour has now become DS Galerie, implemented in Paris and fully metamorphosing into a gallery. The gallery represents and invites French and international artists, mainly from the emerging scene. DS Galerie takes part in international fairs such as Art-O-Rama (Marseille), Paris Photo (FR) and Material (MEX).
