Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This abstract artwork features a striking composition of vibrant colors and organic forms. The prominent visual elements are the deep red and yellow-green hues that dominate the frame, creating a sense of intensity and visual tension. The overall structure resembles a close-up view of an animal's eye, with the central spherical shapes evoking a sense of hidden depth and mystery. The artist's technique appears to be a combination of photography and digital manipulation, resulting in a dreamlike and surreal quality. The piece invites the viewer to explore the interplay of light, shadow, and color, prompting reflections on the natural world and the human experience of perception. ...

Her work explores notions of extractive myopia, or the imaginary distance from or blindness towards physical extraction of earth minerals and substances which enable global connectivity and the endurance of colonial legacies. Through a wide-reaching research based practice encompassing optics, divination, pop culture, biophysics, geology and Latin American history, Correa threads together images which evoke the contemporary phantasmagorical experience of seeing, perceiving, and diagnosing. ...
