Emil Michael Klein
German

Emil Michael Klein's artistic practice, which spans mediums such as wood, textiles, painting, and drawing, is indicative of a deep appreciation for artisanal craftsmanship. This fondness was nurtured during his formative years as he honed his skills in wood engraving. While this method contrasts markedly with conventional painting, it endowed Klein with a unique vantage point, allowing him to view painting as a tangible object and expand his repertoire of techniques. Drawing inspiration from geometric abstraction and minimalism, Klein’s works underscores a dedication to formal independence. Straddling the fine line between intuitive creativity and calculated introspection, Klein's art both acknowledges and challenges established art historical narratives. His abstract works, characterized by energetic lines and surfaces, radiate a visual vigor that aligns with his extensive artistic endeavors. ...
