Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This contemporary artwork depicts two close-up images of human legs and feet in motion. The compositions focus on the textural details of the clothing and footwear, rendered in a high-contrast black and white palette that emphasizes the stark, minimalist aesthetic. The subject matter suggests a sense of urban mobility and everyday experience, with the figures seemingly striding purposefully through a public space. The artist's style and technique employ a documentary-like approach, capturing fleeting moments that reveal the anonymous, ephemeral nature of human movement in the modern city. This work likely reflects the artist's intention to offer a glimpse into the rhythms and dynamics of contemporary urban life. ...

Alessio Bolzoni
B.1979, Italian

Manipulating movement, space, and the human form, Alessio Bolzoni crafts images that challenge perception and transform the familiar into something extraordinary. He frequently explores the human form and its interaction with space, manipulating movement, body language, and the personification of objects to create images that are both visually striking and psychologically resonant. His work investigates themes of identity, the uncanny, and the tension between the familiar and the strange, often presenting figures and forms that provoke curiosity and reflection. Bolzoni also engages with the circulation of images in contemporary society, examining how the proliferation and recontextualization of visual content impacts perception, attention, and meaning. Through his multidisciplinary approach, Bolzoni merges conceptual rigor with formal experimentation, producing works that blur the line between fashion, portraiture, and fine art photography. His practice consistently challenges viewers to reconsider familiar forms, confront contradictions, and navigate the subtle tensions embedded in contemporary visual culture. ...

V.O Curations
London

V.O Curations is an arts organisation dedicated to supporting emerging and underrepresented artists through an innovative and critically-engaged programme. Founded in 2019 by Zina Vieille and Nnamdi Obiekwe, V.O Curations believes that to curate is to approach all aspects of the programme - residencies, exhibitions, events and studio spaces - with care. V.O Curations spans two locations in Mayfair and Tower of London, and currently hosts over 250 artists and thinkers in affordable studios, responding to the changing ways in which they are working and the acute rent increases in the capital. In January 2021, V.O Curations opened its headquarters at 56 Conduit Street, which is the site for its residency and exhibition programme, alongside 70 artist studios. This location in Mayfair reinforces V.O’s commitment to connecting emerging artists to distinctive networks and resources. ...
