Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

The artwork features a repurposed chair with a painted seating surface depicting a tranquil seascape. The colors used are primarily blues and browns, creating a harmonious composition. The central element is a sailboat navigating the calm waters, evoking a sense of movement and peaceful escapism. B.1966, German

Unravelling narrative threads of German folklore in tandem with tropes of psychoanalysis, Amelie Von Wulffen’s canvases host unsettling yet beguiling scenes which strike at the existential questions surrounding a specifically German cultural heritage. Often using personal memories and the family structure as a site to digest a collective sense of the subconscious, her paintings pull the viewer in with remnants of familiarity.
