Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This evocative artwork combines vibrant colors, intricate shapes, and natural elements to create a captivating composition. The prominent bronze-like object, with its distinct Art Deco-inspired design, serves as the central focus, surrounded by a lush, textured background of red and turquoise hues. The inclusion of crystals and other organic materials suggests a sense of mysticism and connection to the natural world. The artist's skillful use of mixed media techniques, blending traditional and contemporary elements, imbues the piece with a unique and thought-provoking character that invites the viewer to explore its symbolic and conceptual layers. ...

Rejecting any hierarchy between the human and the non-human, the visible and the non-visible, the artist explores in a continuous flow of metamorphoses the macro and microscopic relationships we have with our environment. The artist calls our attention to the fragility of the ecosystem of which we are a part, highlighting the importance of an ecological and holistic mindframe for the continuation of human life. Bianca Bondi uses both chemistry and the occult sciences to question our representations and reconsider our notions of rituals and beliefs, of cycles with an emphasis on rebirth and regeneration . The artist experiments with specifically chosen natural elements to examine what intrinsic properties, or “energy”, by diverse cultures they are said to possess, and how this energy can be channeled and eventually activated. The artist’s approach unfolds in monumental and immersive site specific installations as well as in two-dimensional works and sculptural installations. ...

mor charpentier
Paris, Bogotá

Established in Paris since 2010, mor charpentier represents both emerging and well-established artists whose conceptual practices are anchored in social realities, history and the politics of contrasting geographic regions. By promoting international practices, the gallery aims to broaden the knowledge of crucial debates of the present. A significant inaugural show with Colombian master, Oscar Muñoz, fulfilled a void in the French artistic scene by broadening the spectrum of origins, subjects and identities in the art market. Ever since, a growing number of major international artists have joined the gallery. Coming from different generations and global backgrounds, they all share a commitment to either political, feminist, post-colonial, queer or human rights causes. Amongst them are Lawrence Abu Hamdan, Teresa Margolles, Chen Ching-Yuan, Liliana Porter, Bouchra Khalili, Carlos Motta, Hajra Waheed, and more. Equal gender representation and diversity is also part of the gallery goals, with half of the represented artists being women. In 2021 mor charpentier opened a second exhibition space in Bogotá. This expansion was driven to expand the reach of the gallery program to new publics and encourage artists to explore new territories. It consolidated a long-term bond with the Latin American art scene and the international projection of the gallery. ...
