Shaping immersive environments that blur the boundaries between dream and reality, Leïla Vilmouth invites viewers into sensory experiences that evoke altered states of consciousness. Her work explores the interplay between light, sound, and space, creating atmospheres that resonate with the invisible and the ephemeral. Through installations and drawings, she delves into themes of perception, memory, and the unseen forces that shape our experiences. In one notable project, she transformed an abandoned public space into a meditative environment where nature quietly reclaims its place, evoking a world in waiting. Her drawings utilize oil and dry pastel to create ethereal landscapes that serve as portals to communicate with the invisible entities that surround and dwell within us. White-Vilmouth’s practice is deeply influenced by explorations of cognitive states and the potentialities of dreams. DS Galerie is a contemporary art gallery based in Paris. After six years of being a nomad curatorial project (2016–2022), Double Séjour has now become DS Galerie, implemented in Paris and fully metamorphosing into a gallery. The gallery represents and invites French and international artists, mainly from the emerging scene. DS Galerie takes part in international fairs such as Art-O-Rama (Marseille), Paris Photo (FR) and Material (MEX).
