Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This sculptural piece features a shallow, irregular-shaped bowl crafted from a mixture of cement, crushed glass, and other recycled materials. The textured surface is a mottled grey, punctuated by flashes of vibrant colors from the embedded glass shards. The overall composition is organic and asymmetrical, with a sense of rawness and imperfection. The artist's intention may have been to draw attention to the beauty that can emerge from repurposed and discarded materials, challenging the traditional notions of artistic media and craftsmanship. ...

Ludovica Gioscia
B.1977, Italian

London-based artist Ludovica Gioscia's process-led practice reads like a diary of layered experiences and relations, using the studio as a catalyst for non-linear ecological experiments. Born and raised in Rome in the nineteen-eighties, the layering of many architectural styles has become a definite influence in the artist's work, as did the design style of the Memphis Group.
