Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This contemporary abstract artwork features a composition of bold, geometric shapes and vibrant colors. The predominant use of blue and pink creates a visually striking contrast, while the sharp, angular forms and clean lines suggest a minimalist, almost architectural style. The piece appears to be executed through a precise, calculated approach, showcasing the artist's mastery of formal elements. The overall aesthetic evokes a sense of balance, symmetry, and playful tension, inviting the viewer to engage with the work's visual interplay. The artwork's reductive yet dynamic nature likely reflects the artist's intention to explore the expressive potential of abstract formal language. ...

Artist
Pouran Jinchi
B.1959, Iranian

The calligraphic marks made by Pouran Jinchi, rendered with ink onto canvas, are like colourful falling – or fallen – leaves, or fruit dropping from an invisible tree, or perhaps even charred remnants and detritus flickering through the air, landing in a heap, a vibrant mass. Greatly influenced by the lyricism of the written word, poetry is used to spark the artist’s inspiration, but the words and letters – the Farsi language imprinted in ink – are often represented illegibly, becoming amalgamated. The artist, who was trained in calligraphy, celebrates the pure visuality of language, unshackling words from their meaning and signification and protecting their opacity. ...
