This artwork features a collage-like composition made up of various abstract shapes and textures in a muted color palette of beige, white, and subtle blue tones. Petepiece integrates the language of construction materials with forms and details inspired by religious architecture. He delves into the iconography and narratives of Christian spaces, connecting them with devotional painting and sculpture. Furniture, windows, and columns in his work take on anthropomorphic qualities, becoming vessels of sacred meaning and imbuing the architectural elements with spiritual significance. ...
