Stevie Dix

Born in 1990 in Genk, Stevie Dix lived in London, where she studied at the alternative art school Turps Banana (2016-2017), before moving back to Genk in 2020. Expressing herself through undiluted oil paint, and occasionally lined with impasto, Stevie Dix has developed a raw, sensitive and bold body of work, which she describes as autobiographical and introspective. Inaugurated in October 2018, GALERIE CHLOE SALGADO is a contemporary art gallery in Paris representing emerging international artists. Working hand in hand with the artists, the gallery aims to break with the notion of a gallery as an elitist space proposing instead a place of support, discovery and sharing, while also encouraging new generations of collectors and art enthusiasts.
