Through his practice, Sinvaravatn revisits histories of propaganda and mediated imagery, investigating how landscapes can carry both overt and hidden meanings. He reimagines traditional pastoral scenes, embedding subtle critique and skepticism within their seemingly tranquil surfaces. By juxtaposing idyllic imagery with traces of historical and political tension, his work exposes the complex realities underlying official narratives of the Thai countryside, including its contested past during the Cold War.
