In Yasmina Benabderrahmane's artistic practice, video and photography are never just an image, but above all an almost living membrane: film, positive or negative, or any sensitive surface on which something has been printed at a given moment. Equipped with a small scanner, the artist immersed herself in Kodachromes. From them, she drew places and people that were initially unidentified. Everywhere the sky is yellow, among other chromatic aberrations due to a parameter error. Little by little, she pulls up the thread and an archive takes shape.
