Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This abstract artwork features a striking composition of white organic shapes against a dark background. The shapes resemble amorphous creatures or cellular structures, creating a dynamic and intriguing visual rhythm. The artist employs a minimalist approach, focusing on the interplay of positive and negative space to produce a sense of movement and energy. The overall style suggests a scientific or biological exploration, inviting the viewer to ponder the relationship between form, structure, and the natural world. The artist's intention may be to prompt contemplation on the complexities and interconnectedness of living systems. ...

Jedsada Tangtrakulwong
1972

Jedsada Tangtrakulwong works primarily with site-specific installation, bringing together photography, sound, drawing and light to awaken audience perceptions of different spaces. Each body of work develops from extended interactions with particular environments. His 2013 project, Spirit Under The Chi River was based on 21 months of fieldwork covering the fishermen's way of life and the fishing-related culture in twelve villages near the Chi River, Maha Sarakham Province. Simultaneously, Tangtrakulwong was working on Downfall (2013), which was inspired by large, otherworldly trees the artist encountered in Roi Et and Maha Sarakham provinces from November 2010 to January 2013. Building on these experiences, Tangtrakulwong then begins the process of translating his findings into an installation for the public to navigate. Playing with light and sound, as well as built components, Tangtrakulwong tries to emulate the sensorial atmosphere of these different regions, bringing ‘the outside, inside’ as the artist puts it. Tangtrakulwong’s sensitivity to different habitats evokes a similar sensitivity that ran through the 1960s Land Art movement, and the architectural dimension of his practice also echoes the collaborative work of Christo and Jeanne-Claude. ...
