Jungman grew up in Burkina Faso and Europe and studied painting at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Art at Villa Arson in Nice. Late in his studies, he discovered his interest in photography. Until 2006, Jungman was active as a commercial photographer in South Korea. He then, devoted his photography to Korean and Asian landscapes, as well as other subjects. His works capture intangible moments, such as wind and rustling leaves, facilitating a multi-sensory experience.
