Often working in copper, the artist twists, reshapes and contorts the metal with the help of a metalwork tool called an English Wheel, commonly used for making curved panels for car parts. She is intrigued by creating forms detached from their original function, the purpose of their conception. Lund’s arrangement of the sculptures within her installations is distinctly curatorial.
