Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This vibrant mixed-media sculpture showcases a bold and visually chaotic composition. The work features a jumble of brightly colored, repurposed objects and materials, creating a textured and visually striking assemblage. The overall effect is one of energy, chaos, and a sense of recycling or upcycling discarded items. The artist's intention seems to be a commentary on consumerism, waste, and the transformative potential of found objects. This contemporary piece reflects the artist's innovative approach to media and their engagement with societal themes through a dynamic, unconventional sculptural form. ...

Meitao Qu

Working across sculpture, installation, and XR, Qu’s practice is concerned with the role of images in shaping discourses of gender, race, and nation. Using miniatures and readymades, her work considers the artifice of the built environment to explore the conditions of what is lost and gained in the processes of urbanization. As such, Qu confronts the complexity of system change and the significant challenges facing society, addressing the interconnections between the social, political, and ecological worlds.
