The artwork features a black and white close-up photograph of a person's face, with their hands covering their mouth in a gesture resembling a mask. The stark contrast and dramatic lighting create a strong sense of tension and introspection. The subject's intense gaze and covered mouth suggest themes of silencing, concealment, or self-imposed restraint. The artwork, titled "Mask," invites the viewer to consider the implications of hiding one's expression and the symbolic power of facial coverings. This thought-provoking piece seems to explore concepts of identity, vulnerability, and the ways in which we present ourselves to the world. ...

Part of a renowned generation of Burmese artists who overcame government censorship and oppression, Satt engages with history through a conceptual artistic perspective. The artist draws from recent events in Burmese political history, primarily investigating the period of 1983 to 2015, spanning from the year of his birth to when he began his practice in performance art.
