This contemporary sculptural work features a striking interplay of colors, shapes, and textures. The composition is dominated by a series of intricately woven, copper-colored feathers that appear to cascade from a wooden frame, creating a sense of movement and fluidity. The overall palette combines warm, earthy tones with pops of metallic accents, lending the piece a rustic yet refined aesthetic. The artist's skilled use of mixed media, including wood, metal, and fibers, suggests an exploration of the relationship between nature and industrial materials. Through this interplay, her sculptures evoke the body’s vulnerability and porous boundaries. Emotions like shame, grief, and strength run through her work, as she draws out the metaphorical potential of materials to express what resists articulation. ...
