Sanja Iveković is a pioneering Croatian artist known for her interdisciplinary practice. She first gained recognition as part of the New Art Practice movement in Socialist Yugoslavia and has since continuously examined the role of art in society through a wide range of media. Her work delves into the complex intersections of gender, national identity, and social class.
