Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This vibrant abstract composition employs a rich palette of earthy tones and bold, angular shapes. The visual elements create a dynamic, fragmented effect, with intersecting planes of oranges, browns, and blues. The overall impression is one of chaos and movement, conveyed through the artist's experimental techniques. While the subject matter is largely non-representational, the work evokes a sense of natural forms and landscapes. This abstract expressionist piece reflects the artist's intention to capture the spontaneity and emotional energy of the creative process, breaking away from traditional representational painting. ...

Artist
Tomasz Kowalski
B.1984, Polish

The work of Tomasz Kowalski is enigmatic in nature – strange yet familiar scenes host an array of mysterious narratives: each work is an intricate tableau collected from a fragmented reality. Figures navigate through peculiar landscapes, their bodies changing with the environments around them, consumed by space. Kowalski presents several mediums at once: oils on canvas, works on paper and the addition of handwoven wool tapestries done in collaboration with his mother Alicja Kowalska, a master textile artist. His body of work draws from German Expressionism, New Objectivity, Surrealism and Transanvagardia, along with the influence of psychedelia and Postmodern literature, all which play with the subconscious and our perceptions while keeping a tether to non-abstract realms. ...
