Veronica Paretta (1986, Italy) lives and works in Cagliari. Graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna in 2011, she received her MFA in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sassari in 2022. In 2011 she participated to the 54th edition of the Venice Biennale (Italian Pavilion, at the Sala Nervi in Turin). In 2013 and 2016 she attended two artist residencies at the Casa Falconieri's engraving workshop in Cagliari. In February 2017 her first solo show at Galleria Macca in Cagliari. Between 2016 and 2022 she had several group-shows in Sardinia, at Salone del Libro in Turin, and ArtMadrid. She has shown at Museo Nivola and at Museo MACC in Calasetta. In 2019 and 2022 her second and third solo show at Galleria Macca. In 2019 she co-founded the artist-run studio Mezzanino in Cagliari.
