Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

The artwork features a detailed map-like composition, with a rough, earthy texture and intricate patterns created by the interplay of light and shadow. The dark, jagged shapes resembling mountain ranges or geological formations dominate the scene, conveying a sense of rugged, untamed landscapes. The overall aesthetic suggests a timeless, elemental quality, with the artist's skillful use of materials and techniques evoking a sense of depth and mystery. An Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts graduate in Paris, Constance Nouvel has been developing a body of photographic work since 2010 that evolves in an experimental language between shaping and spatializing images. She transforms views, landscapes or pictures of interiors, fragments of settings or enigmatic details, through a series of shifts and interventions - frame, support, form - that question the medium of reality. Combining photography with drawing and installation, his works take the viewer into physical spaces evocative of the imaginary. Her explorations of photography call on mechanisms of perception and prompt reflection on the act of looking. ...
