Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This geometric abstract artwork features a grid-like composition of intersecting white and blue lines against a black background. The clean, minimalist design creates a sense of order and rhythmic pattern through the repetition of the rectangular grid structure. The artist has employed a stark color palette and precise, linear brushwork to emphasize the two-dimensional nature of the picture plane. This work exemplifies the principles of op art, which aims to produce optical illusions and a visually stimulating experience for the viewer through the use of geometric forms and contrasting colors. ...

Constance Nouvel
1985 , French

An Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts graduate in Paris, Constance Nouvel has been developing a body of photographic work since 2010 that evolves in an experimental language between shaping and spatializing images. She transforms views, landscapes or pictures of interiors, fragments of settings or enigmatic details, through a series of shifts and interventions - frame, support, form - that question the medium of reality. Combining photography with drawing and installation, his works take the viewer into physical spaces evocative of the imaginary. Her explorations of photography call on mechanisms of perception and prompt reflection on the act of looking. ...
