His work explores the brokenness of the social tissue provoked by organized crime, and the way violence has transformed the landscape of Michoacán. He focus mainly in painting and installation. He has been awarded honor mentions in national competitions such as the National Biennial of Painting and Printing Alfredo Zalce (2020) and The Young Art National Encounter (2023), and has participated in international events such as the New York Latin American Art Triennial (2022), and the MexiCali Biennial (2023).
