Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This contemporary artwork features a captivating blend of vibrant colors and abstract shapes. The composition showcases a central sculptural element, a bell-like form, nestled amidst a backdrop of draping, painted fabrics in shades of blue, pink, and yellow. The use of expressive brushstrokes and layering creates a sense of movement and depth, evoking a dreamlike, ethereal quality. The artistic style suggests a focus on the interplay of light, shadow, and texture, inviting the viewer to ponder the symbolic or emotive message the artist seeks to convey through this visually striking and imaginative piece. ...

Pierpaolo Campanini
1964

Pierpaolo Campanini was born in Cento (Ferrara), in 1964. He lives and works in Italy. Pierpaolo Campanini’s research explores the inherent limits and possibilities of painting, creating moments marked by a sense of incompleteness and transience: precariously united, ephemeral composites survive only through their painted representation. At the same time intimate and monumental, the sculptures assembled in his studio in a meticulous process of accumulation of objects and natural elements are, through pictorial mediation, rendered solitary creatures – inhabitants of a fictitious reality, both tangible and indefinite. ...

Since then, the gallery has aimed to explore a diverse range of media, with a focus on video, site specific installation, and a special attention towards the works of female artists. After ten years in its historical location, the gallery opened in a new space in October 2010, under the name kaufmann repetto, to mark the partnership between Francesca Kaufmann and Chiara Repetto. In its new location, the gallery has been able to further develop its exhibition programming through a project space dedicated predominantly to younger artists, as well as a courtyard for large scale outdoor installations, which run parallel to the gallery’s main exhibition schedule. In 2013, the gallery inaugurated a new location in Chelsea, New York, with a parallel program to the gallery’s main space in Milan. In 2019 the New York location moved to Tribeca, expanding to a 3,000 sq ft exhibition space. The inaugural exhibition at the gallery’s new space in Tribeca was a solo show by Lily van der Stokker. ...
