Seroj Barseghian’s paintings are distinct in the continuous deconstruction of the artist's subjects into colourful strips. Such a strong style makes his works instantly recognisable. The brightness of depicted fields, landscapes, portraits, silhouettes and abstract shapes is pierced through by organic patterns of Barseghian’s strips. They form the basis of the works as much, if not more, as the fundamental elements of painting, such as colour, texture, shape, line. The artist’s works are at once illusive and telling, abstract and figurative. Parallel Circuit aims to open the way for artists standing at the interstices of based and experimental art. Zaal Art Gallery is an international gallery in Ontario, Canada. The gallery provides an engaging and immersive space for both enthusiasts and professionals.
