Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This artwork features a striking close-up of a hand resting against a dark background. The composition is centered on the hand, which is illuminated, creating a dramatic contrast with the surrounding shadowy tones. The use of chiaroscuro lighting technique emphasizes the form and texture of the hand, drawing the viewer's attention to the intricate details. The overall style has a surreal and contemplative quality, evoking a sense of mystery and intimacy. Hello Hello Johnson‘s narcissis, here‘s your moon rising over that yellow thin line of a place not like in the ocean, those cliffs, opening if anything, Who know’s if they’re hurt? Hello Hello, Eden‘s in the sea and you‘re in hell, you then us, hello, hello, When it’s day and I see the moon in the sky does the moon go away before it is night or does the moon also stay? Hello Hello, mesh wire keeps chicks inside, Hello, Hello, The wide road shimmered in the hot sun, Hello Hello, This is what you get when you lay a circle out in triangles or maybe hop over the fence and plunge in, Hello Hello Hello Hello, a giant sees nothing in the mirror, Hello, Hello, can some one get me out of here. Hello hello the sun is the sky

An island is all surrounded by water In the morning foreboding Quickly solved by dripping A shower, you know A slow crawl to the park Wait first meat A coffee A hill A roundabout A breeze on the lake A larking body of water, once screaming once babbling, once running A sleeping family A white child with A water gun A tall tree A tunneling A horn Another A too small blanket, you in my mind and next to me A wind in my ears, my basement look what I found, leave the lights on A sigh A tie on a rooftop A still flooding Another horn All in the flight path An immovable object A clapping of leaves A certainty, it is seven feet deep One boy watches the other A horn

We talked of the slide show in the circus. Use a pencil to write the first draft. He ran half way to the hardware store. The clock struck to mark the third period. A small creek cut across the field. Cars and busses stalled in snow drifts. Not clumping. The set of china hit, the floor with a crash. This is a grand season for hikes on the road. The dune rose from the edge of the water. Those words were the cue for the actor to leave.

Bendt Eyckermans
Artist
Bendt Eyckermans
B.1994, Belgian

Coming from five generations of sculptors based and working in Antwerp, Bendt Eyckermans creates figurative paintings that are at once personal and historically critical. Like Hitchock film scenes, his works are characterised by contradictions and tensions, where tenderness meets aggression, hyperrealist imagery meets cartoonish fragments. With all his characters being his real-life friends, Eyckermans treats the process of painting as his way of processing his life and occurrences he finds himself in. At the same time, his practice makes a critical reference to a complex European colonialiasm entrenched in the history of art. The mysterious atmosphere of his works is accentuated by the use of dark colours, contrasts and unexpected perspectives. Eyckermans’s practice creates an uncanny juxtaposition between mundane, meticulously painted elements, such as peebles, driveways, cards, and his eerie subjects who appear to exist in a determined youth, while also being trapped in a self-aware Western existence. ...
