Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This abstract artwork features a striking visual composition. The dominant colors are deep blue and black, with geometric shapes and silhouettes creating a sense of depth and contrast. The foreground depicts angular structures, perhaps buildings or architectural elements, while the background is a gradient of blue hues, suggesting a sky or landscape. The central focus is a series of stylized, organic shapes that resemble plant-like forms, rendered in a vibrant pale blue. The overall style is minimalist and modernist, utilizing sharp lines, negative space, and a limited palette to create a bold, conceptual image. The artist's intention may have been to explore themes of urban settings, natural elements, and the interplay between the constructed and the organic. ...

B.1993

Dony Cheng Hung (b. 1993) lives and works in Hong Kong. Dony holds a BA in Fine Arts and an MFA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Predominantly works with acrylic and charcoal, Dony transforms familiar sights of cityscape into simple blocks of monotone colour with various shades, exploring the subtle variations. Often inspired by daily sceneries in her neighbourhood, the everyday objects are teleported to an alienated and unfamiliar background, juxtaposing the reality with the imagined. In recent years, her endeavours extend into installation and moving images, immersing into the artificial landscape in a three-dimensional space. She was awarded Fresh Trend Art Award in 2020 and the Grotto Fine Art’s Creative Award in 2017. ...
