Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

The artwork features a prominent, jagged rock formation with a striking reddish-brown hue, contrasting against the plain background. The rock's irregular shape and texture suggest a natural, organic formation rather than a man-made sculpture. The overall composition emphasizes the sculptural quality of the rock, drawing the viewer's attention to its distinct and almost alien-like appearance. Evgeny Antufiev
B.1986, Russian

The artist carves wood, boils bones and embroiders traditional fabrics with recurring images that blur the legibility of geography and temporality, collapsing physical and symbolic orders. Part of a generation that grew up negotiating the real and imagined experiences tied to the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Antufiev builds a mythology of fraught ambiguity and cultural anxiety. ...
