Jo Dennis’ work is characterized by the diverse aesthetic strategies and mediums in her practice, including installation, assemblage, painting, found objects and photography. Hovering between the realms of painting and sculpture. Dennis' abstract approach to art-making delves into themes associated with shelter and mortality. Jo Dennis (born in 1973 in Forres, Scotland) holds an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art, London (2022) and completed a BA in Fine Art and Contemporary Critical Theory at Goldsmiths College, London (2002).
