Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This abstract expressionist painting features a dramatic explosion of vibrant colors and energetic brushstrokes. The canvas is dominated by fiery shades of orange and red, with swirling and overlapping patterns that evoke a sense of raw, primal energy. Amidst the chaos, there are glimpses of bold yellow, blue, and black tones that add depth and complexity to the composition. The overall effect is one of intense emotion and spontaneous, gestural expression, capturing the artist's dynamic and visceral approach to the medium. The artist's intention appears to be to convey a powerful, visceral response to the subject matter through the use of bold, expressive painting techniques. ...

Artist
Korakrit Arunanondchai
B.1986, Thai

Korakrit Arunanondchai’s versatile and explosive practice spans accross film-making, painting, installation and performance. Bangkok-raised, US-based artist treats art-making as a way of storytelling: his works are perpetuated by the memory of strange historical events, personal experiences, ritualistic performances, the process of data collection, the study of the Anthropocene, news broadcasts, and so on. The multitude of themes Arunanondchai accommodates in his practice is reflected in the visual, rich storm of his works which feature lasers, body paints, fire, challenging and alluring spectacles. The artist’s practice creates spiritual ecosystems that commemorate memory's fragility, the concerns of political upheavals, and cosmology. His paintings are never isolated from his installations, video works or performances. Just like particles of the universe exist in relation with each other, Arunanondchai’s works physically and spiritually belong to each other and everything else. ...
