Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This vibrant contemporary artwork features a collage-like composition of bold, abstract shapes and patterns in a range of fiery hues, including reds, oranges, and yellows. The central figure appears to be a stylized, fantastical creature with a distinct silhouette, evoking a sense of movement and dynamism. The artist's unique blend of media, incorporating both organic and geometric elements, creates a striking visual effect that challenges the boundaries of traditional representation. The piece likely reflects the artist's intention to explore themes of transformation, symbolism, and the interplay between the natural and the surreal. ...

Lito Kattou's works are part of a new wave of production that blends various practices, from digital fabrication to thermochemical elaborations, to explore the relationship between materiality and subjectivity. Her practice takes on different forms that include weapons, skins, and cosmic elements, and use flatness to create sculptural depth. Examining processes of embodiment and material transformation, her works track these metamorphic changes within the constraints of space and time. Kattou's practice explores space before and after the body, questioning the body's presence, absence, representation, and abstraction. She views subjectivation as a series of tactics for creating and conditioning the self and others. Through her works, she depicts the subject as a wanderer, transcending identity and categorization, and composed of voices that fluctuate between dialogue and monologue. The structures of space, form, and narrative in her artworks are built around the traces of attack and defense, and the modes of roaming and intimate communication. ...
