Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

The artwork depicts an abstract, organic sculpture composed of vibrant green, orange, and brown hues. The sculptural forms suggest a plant-like structure, with curved and twisted shapes that evoke a sense of growth and movement. The artist has employed a textured, layered approach, incorporating various techniques that create a weathered, worn appearance. This whimsical and playful piece likely reflects the artist's exploration of themes related to nature, transformation, and the cycle of life, offering a unique and thought-provoking contemporary interpretation of natural forms. ...

B.1988, ITALIAN

Luca Staccioli’s multidisciplinary artistic practice is research-based and process-oriented, merging sculptures, photos, videos, sounds, embroideries, drawings, and collages. Diversity and imaginative transformation become tools for the decolonization of nature and everyday life. Staccioli layers childhood fantasies, micro-stories, uprooted memories, as well as everyday objects and nomadic images that proliferate on the internet and in historical archives. His works de-functionalize products, shifting their scales, transforming their materials, often using found objects as molds to create new forms and stories. Reflecting on the changing value of tales and items, and on the relation between human bodies, artifacts and natural ecosystems, Staccioli reappropriates images and realities eroded by consumption and productivity, investigating political territories of re-imagination. ...
