Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

The artwork features a striking aquarium-like structure with a deep blue exterior and vibrant purple lighting inside. The composition highlights a variety of abstract, biomorphic shapes and forms that appear to be illuminated, creating an ethereal and otherworldly atmosphere. The piece employs an experimental approach to materials and lighting, blending elements of sculpture, design, and aquatic environments. This innovative work likely reflects the artist's exploration of the intersection between technology, nature, and the human experience. ...

Max Hooper Schneider's installations and assemblages focus on themes of death, destruction, and mutation. They are a series of fragmented dreamscapes made of chains, fluorescent tubes, monstrous fingers, and other suggested morphologies whose times and places intertwine, hovering in a transitory perimortal state that evokes both loss and resurrection. According to Schneider and his work, each body exists only through its interactions, communications, and exchanges of matter, energy, and information with other bodies. A 'trans-habitat' is created in which a tension exists between the traumatic and the marvelous. ...

Instituto de Vision is a Bogotá and New York based gallery for conceptual practices. Their mission is to investigate conceptual discourses that have been neglected by the official Latin American art canon. They have recovered important estates from the Latin American art of the mid century and continue to research the most enigmatic oeuvres of the region. Through a parallel program, they represent some of the most relevant contemporary practices from Colombia, Chile, North America, Venezuela, and others. Directed by three women, Instituto de Vision gives special attention to female voices, queer theories, environmental activism, the conflicts of migration, and other critical positions that challenge the established order. Using the international art scene as a platform, they are committed to give visibility and expand the work of artists that reveal critical realities and raise important questions for these contemporary subjects. ...
