Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This minimalist artwork features a simple, rectangular composition with a predominantly white background. The subtle, textured edges of the wooden frame create a sense of depth and contrast against the flat, monochromatic surface. The central element is a small, rectangular form in a neutral, beige tone, which appears to be a subtle, textual or linguistic component integrated into the overall design. The artwork's spare, reductive style and focus on basic geometric forms and subtle tonal variations suggest an emphasis on the materiality and formal qualities of the medium, reflecting a conceptual approach typical of minimalist art. Minh Lan Tran
B.1997

Minh Lan Tran's practice encompasses painting, writing, and performance, exploring the interplay and resistance between language, movement, and matter. Beginning with calligraphy, writing forms is an important foundation of her artistic process. Embracing the principles of choreography, Tran carefully distributes different intensities, resulting in compositions that embody the fluidity of physicality. Rooted in diverse traditions and histories, her art addresses themes of social unrest and channels spiritual-political expressions of protest, including self-immolations. Through the convergence of these elements, the artist prioritizes embodiment over representation. ...

Parliament Gallery, founded in 2020, resembles a desire to rethink the function of the art gallery by formulating new proposals of audience interaction with the artwork and visibility to a new generation of french and international artists. Parliament wishes to build through a program that is dedicated to the circulation of ideas and collective reflection. The exhibition program will be interspersed with punctual “Interludes”, archive exhibitions and retrospectives, aiming to put into perspective the transdisciplinary character of creation.
