Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This abstract artwork features a composition of vibrant color blocks arranged in a grid-like pattern. The dominant hues include deep reds, earthy browns, rich blues, and vivid greens, which appear to be applied in a textured, gestural manner. The overall style suggests an emphasis on color, form, and the materiality of the paint itself, characteristic of midcentury abstract expressionist techniques. The work's simple yet striking visual language invites the viewer to contemplate the emotive and evocative potential of pure abstract form, reflecting the artist's exploration of the expressive power of color and composition. ...

Rudi Ninov works with drawing, sculpture and painting, often bringing these media together within a series of works. His practice balances a sense of spontaneity with a more precise, reasoned character. His paintings for example, host decided color planes and geometric line work, whilst more organic, gestural forms also surface in the frame. Outlines traced onto canvas might be emulated in ceramic, stretched into new dimensions or doused in a new color palette. This shapeshifting methodology is playful in tone, while a process-based exploration reflects Ninov’s deep interest with formal composition and abstraction within art history. References to music, collected objects, comic strip graphics, poetry and early animation films merge with Ninov’s art historical interests, to generate a body of work which is both conceptually and personally driven. ...
