Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

The artwork features a minimalist composition of three distinct color blocks - a warm ochre, a deep brown, and a neutral off-white. The simplicity of the geometric shapes and the muted tones create a sense of balance and harmony. The artist's technique likely involves the use of flat, uniform application of paint, reflecting the Modernist aesthetic. Sandra Gamarra's practice makes reference to cultural production as a construction in balance. The constant use of painting in Gamarra, always camouflaged or hybrid, acts as a mirror that alters the exhibition formats, narratives and the concept of cultural property. In 2002, she created the LiMac, a museum project, in response to the cultural institutional void in Peru.
