Fractured self

Imagine yourself as a mosaic—each shard a memory, each fragment a story. Identity is fragmented, nonlinear, imperfect. Through collage, artists reassemble past and present into visual diaries, embracing the messiness of memory to reveal a self that is ever-evolving, resilient, and beautifully incomplete.

Start Series

Fractured Self is a series exploring identity as a layered, evolving process. In a time marked by fragmentation and hyperconnectivity, the self is no longer a fixed whole but a mosaic of memories, emotions, and cultural influences.

Through the work of contemporary artists across mediums, the series examines how we piece ourselves together—through gesture, ritual, narrative, and imagination. Each episode opens a new entry point into this reconstruction: from intimate autobiographies and reassembled histories to digital personas and speculative futures. These artistic practices don’t seek resolution—they embrace contradiction, fluidity, and transformation. Fractured Self invites us to turn inward and reflect on how identity is lived, performed, and constantly reimagined in a world that demands both fragmentation and wholeness.
